What We Believe

Vision Statement

Where is Cornerstone headed? And why does this church exist? People without a defining vision have been likened to a lost traveler, walking in circles. We're eager to avoid that comparison! And more seriously, we learn that, "When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild" (Proverbs 29:18). Clearly, a central set of goals is essential to the growth and well-being of any group. As a church, our objectives should be more than just good ideas—they need to be divinely inspired. What, then, do we at Cornerstone understand to be our God-given purpose?

By examining God's paradigm in the Bible, we understand that our church is meant to be...

A Growth Center - We envision our church as a place where the people of God flourish and develop to full maturity as followers of Jesus Christ. This vision recognizes that for God's people to mature, they need His word and they need one another.

God desires in our day to use all of His people to accomplish this work. We wholeheartedly desire to do our share, participating with God's people locally and internationally as He opens doors to see the Great Commission fulfilled.
