A Church for this Generation

When God decides to change the world, He's no respecter of persons. But He does like to aim young. No disrespect to anyone's parents, but Jesus knew that young people possess loads of energy and dynamism, ready to be channeled. Maybe that's why most of the disciples were young men. Many think the apostle John was no more than a teenager. At the height of His ministry, Christ himself was no more than 33.

Thirty years ago, God used young men and women in their late teens and early twenties to form vibrant communities of disciples to reach young people with the Gospel. In what later became known as “Great Commission Ministries,” thousands were led to a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In time, over 200 additional churches were started throughout the United States and the world.  Today, Cornerstone exists as a result of one of those "church plants."

The vision of seeing young people empowered by Christ continues today. Would you like to be a part of reaching your generation with the life-defining message of Jesus? Consider linking arms with Cornerstone’s young adult team.

To learn more about our high school and college scene, check out the listings on the  opportunities page or send a note to our young adult leader. Of course, you could just also come by and meet us (directions).
